The hotel offers great value for money with its reasonable prices and attention to detail. The location is perfect, right in the center of town and near the entrance to the breakfast area. The staff provides excellent service and the rooms are basic but comfortable with a decently sized bathroom.
All was satisfactory.

We decided to book this Hospedaje because of the affordable price and the very high rating and comments from Booked.net users. For sure we agree on the comments about the very nice couple that run the place, but that's about it. The owners are really a very nice and helpful couple and we enjoyed their company.
The room was small, the bed was very noisy, the floor the same, the bathroom had a door without handle and was not possible to close it properly. In summary, we found it much below our expectations. Well, people are different, and travellers put value on different areas!

The owner is a very talkative lady trying to do her best to help her guests. If you are going to Torres del Paine from Puerto Natales, before buying a bus ticket ask her if she can book it for you - it might be cheaper than it costs at the bus station. I don't know if she speaks English, but for me it was a good opportunity to train my Spanish skills :-) Besides, the breakfast she made for us was really impressive! Orange juice, bread, butter, cheese, ham, yogurt, cereals, tea and coffee... just everything!
The location is probably not the best one, but Puerto Natales is quite a small town, so it doesn't really matter. The owner didn't want to accept any other currency except Chilean pesos.

We spent our Christmas at this hotel and the location was great, right in the center of everything. the staff was friendly and accommodating, they even had a special Christmas dinner which was delicious. We also enjoyed the free breakfast each morning which was a good way to start the day.
The room was quite small and the bedspreads were dirty and stained. the bathroom was cramped, and the heat made it unpleasant to be inside.

The family atmosphere at the Hostel.....friendly whilst little things were provided - for example, Wood fire kept burning all day; cup of coffee/ bread rolls provided at tea time (not part of the accommodation); sewing a patch on trekking pants; advice about town map aand town services;...
Communication was very difficult

Very bossy (in a nice way) host mom always concerned for her guests. It's a quiet location away from the center of Puerto Natales, but not too far. Breakfast is served in the warm and homey kitchen of the house. A second floor living room with a computer is heated with a wood stove for guests. Rooms were half price for single travelers - very important for me!
Bedrooms are not heated and it's a little distance from the center (I didn't mind these things, but some guests might).
